Sunlight caresses ripe tangerines on my table. Media mandarina-tangerine in Spanish- is a take on the Mexican phrase, media naranja, or one’s other half: boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse.
Since tangerines are what I have available, media mandarina will have to do.
